The Alumni Annual General Meeting & Networking Dinner was held on Friday 16th March 2018 at Simba Auditorium, Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD), Nairobi. In general the event was attended by about 100 delegates and it was successful.
Announcements to alumni members was done through e-mail messages, website announcements, social media, mobile text messages and twice through the Standard Newspaper published on 26th February 2018 and 15th March 2018.
During the event, entertainment was conducted by the Moi University Choir and the band who did a great job. The alumni members had time to share their where to buy viagra without prescription experiences as well as interesting moments of campus life to the audience. The alumni report was presented by Deputy Vice Chancellor (Finance) – Prof. Daniel Tarus on behalf of the patron and the minutes of the previous meeting were presented by the Director International Programmes, Linkages and Alumni (IPLA) - Dr. Charles Lagat.
The event was graced by Moi University Council Chairman - Dr. Jeremiah N. Koshal, the Moi University Chancellor - Prof. Miriam Were, Former Moi University Ag. Vice Chancellor Prof. Laban P. Ayiro, Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Commissioner - Amb. Dr. Paul Kurgat, the Principal Secretary, East Africa Community - Dr. Susan Komen and the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development, Director - Dr. Julius O. Jwan among other dignitaries. Dr. Florah Karimi from the Ministry of Education represented the Education Cabinet Secretary - Hon. Dr. Amina Mohamed. The Chief Guest was the Managing Director, Kenya Women Microfinance Bank, Mr. Mwangi Githaiga.
The Election of new officials was successfully done by the appointed five election officials led by the Returning Officer, Dr. Rose Ramkut. The following are new office bearers for the next three (3) years:
