I bring to you greetings from the membership of Moi University  Alumni Association. Hamjambo.alumni chair 37th Graduation
Today we have come to witness the 37th graduation ceremony and to congratulate the graduands who qualified for the diplomas or degrees of various programmes of Moi University. We believe they been well prepared and are ready to join the world of work.  I join the invited guests, parents and friends in congratulating our grandaunds.
To Moi University Council, Management, faculty and staff, I wish to thank you for the good work you have done in preparing the graduants.  
To the graduands, we welcome you to join more than 100,000 Moi graduates who live and work in different parts of Kenya and  throughout the world. We call upon you to always preserve the values which you have acquired and inspiring excellence with the Moi University degree. As a graduate, you represent much of all that is good and great about the University – your past accomplishments, your future achievements, the way in which you live and the values by which you live will reflect upon the educational values of Moi University. As a Moi University Alumni we expect to read and hear about excellent actions and good deeds you deliver as our Alma Mater.
We invite you to register with our Alumni Association which is a global alumni family. As a member of the Alumni Association you will benefit from a number a number of activities including members networking meetings, professional symposiums, participation in students mentorship programmes and participation in the annual general meetings. The membership is based on an annual subscription of Ksh.1000 or a life membership contribution of Ksh.20,000, 50,000, 100,000 or more depending on your capability.
As an Alumni member you can support University development for the benefit of other future generations and for posterity. For example, you can arrange to host students on industrial attachments or internships at your place of work, or visit Moi University and mentor students. You can help current students to get valuable and much needed practical work experience in their field of study. Through the Alumni activities, you will be doing your part to make the University stronger. Your Alma Mater is the strength of University.
Dear graduands as you now prepare to embark on the next phase of your life, we call upon you to maintain your relationship with your Alma Mater and your fellow alumni. I welcome you to join Moi University Alumni Networks in different regions. Follow the Alumni Office on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and more importantly find time to visit this campus with your Class of 2018. We hope you will be wonderful ambassadors for the University - within your profession and to prospective students.
